Honkai Star Rail Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3) puzzle solutions

Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3) is the final Adventure Mission in the Honkai: Star Rail quest chain about Cyrille, a child who was groomed to become the eighth Supreme Guardian of Belobog. In the last segment of her tragic story, you must put the shadow of her soul to rest. I almost forgot to do the last part of this quest, so make sure to read the entire walkthrough below to complete everything!

How to unlock Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3) Mission in Honkai Star Rail

To unlock Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3), you first need to complete Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 2), including the part where you obtain the text message from Dunn and speak to him for the second time. Once that's done, you can proceed to Everwinter Hill, where a Mission marker for Vessel of Mediocrity (Part 3) will appear. Speak to the Guardian Shadow to trigger the quest.

Upon starting the puzzle, push the leftmost box upward three times so that it's against the topmost part of the grid.

Once that's done, push the box blocking the leftmost child to the right once. Doing so will free the child, allowing you to rescue her.

Interact with the child to rescue her.

Then, push the box pictured above upward once to make room on the right.

Push the box blocking the second child downward once, giving you room to reach her.

Interact with the child to rescue her.

You'll have access to the box blocking the third child. Push it upward twice so that it's beside the last child.

Once that's done, interact with the third child to rescue her.

Lastly, you need to push the final box blocking the last child. Push it once to the right to unblock the way.

Interact with the final child to rescue her, completing the puzzle. You'll receive The Memories We Share Achievement called "The Banality of Evil," and a Precious Treasure will spawn to thank you for your effort. Loot it to get the Fathom the Unfathomable Achievement called "The Birth of Tragedy."

Once that's done, speak to the Guardian Shadow once again to engage in battle. The enemy lineup is pictured above. Prioritize bringing Physical and Quantum Element weakness breakers to damage all enemies. After winning the battle, select Pick up Cyrille's relic to continue the quest.

Next, head to the Administrative District and find Manya in front of Serval's workshop. Speak to her and select the dialogue option "Do you know the Supreme Guardian Cyrille?" Complete the dialogue to get a readable called Cyrille: Cyrille "The Fool," completing the Adventure Mission chain.
