With a Stelleron buried deep inside their chest, Honkai: Star Rail's main character, the Trailblazer, will be the first character you'll have access to. That means this will also be the first character you'll get to decide how to build. Confused by all the options? Don't worry, we can help! Here's our recommendations for the best Light Cones, Relics and more for the Physical Trailblazer.
Best Light Cone for Physical Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail
The best high-rarity Light Cone for the Physical Trailblazer is On the Fall of an Aeon. It increases the users Attack with each strike a character lands against an enemy. It also increases the wearers damage for two turns when they inflict Weakness Break on an Enemy.
This Light Cone can be obtained From Herta's Simulated Universe Store for eight Herta Bonds. These Bonds are obtained as a reward for completing Simulate Universe Levels. To superimpose this Light Cone, you'll need to use four (Custom-made) Superimposers, which can also be purchased from Herta's Simulated Universe Store for two Herta Bonds a piece.
Best free-to-play Light Cones for Physical Trailblazer
When you're first starting out in the game, the first three-star Light Cone you are given, Collapsing Sky, is honestly a serviceable option for the first chapter of the game. If you want to upgrade from that, you could try Woof! Walk Time, available from the Forgotten Hall store, or you could use Under the Blue Sky, obtained from Gacha Pulls on the Standard Banner.
Keep in mind that On the Fall of an Aeon can absolutely be obtained for free through gameplay. Any of the other options that you pick should only be placeholders until you're ready to obtain and build the five-star option, if you want to give your Physical Trailblazer the best build.

Best Relic sets for Physical Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail
The best Relic Set to use for the Physical Trailblazer is the Champion of Streetwise Boxing Set. Its four piece set that boosts both Physical Damage and Attack. You can obtain a four-star set from the Jarilo-VI World Shop in Boulder Town for 400 Shield. Otherwise, this Relic Set can be farmed from the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Jabbing Punch. Here's one of our best tips—Wait to try to farm these Relics until you've unlocked the highest difficulty by reaching Equilibrium Level Six.
The best Planar Ornaments to use are from the Celestial Differentiator Set. This set can be obtained from completing Simulated Universe: World Five. Again, we recommend waiting to farm these Ornaments until you've unlocked the highest difficulty by reaching Equilibrium Level Six.
Which of Physical Trailblazer’s stats you should boost
As the Physical Trailblazer specializes in dealing damage, the stats that you should focus building on with Relics and Ornaments are Attack and Critical Values.
Critical Main Stats can only be found on Body Relic Pieces, so make sure that this Relic piece has this Main Stat Value. The Planar Sphere is the only piece that can boost your Physical Damage via its Main Stat Value, so we highly recommend using that as well. Otherwise, you should aim to have Attack as the Main Stat of your remaining Relics, with the exception of the Head Piece, which can only be HP.
Physical Trailblazer’s Path and Element in Honkai Star Rail
Just like in Genshin, you'll have the ability to change the element of your main character as you progress through the game. The first version of the Trailblazer you'll have access to is a Physical Character who follows the Destruction Path. This means that he will excel in dealing both Single Target and AoE Damage. Whipping out a bat and whacking some enemies is their main function.
Who pairs well with Physical Trailblazer in combat?
The Physical Trailblazer is strictly a damage dealer, so they'll need to be paired with other supportive characters like those on the Harmony, Preservation, or Abundance Path. Since Natasha matches his Physical element, you'll likely want to use them to take on enemies with Physical Weaknesses. Other units that don't share their element but can be helpful are supports like Bronya, Asta, or Tingyun.
