How to Turn on Arachnophobia Mode in Hytale

To turn on the Arachnophobia Mode in Hytale, you simply have to toggle it on from the main settings. No need to install any mods or tinker with the game files. Here’s how to do that:

  • From the Main Menu, go to Settings > Gameplay.
  • Look for the Accessibility section, and you’ll find the Enable Arachnophobia Mode option.
  • It is set to Off by default. Toggle it to On, and the Arachnophobia Mode will remove all spiders from the game and replace them with crabs.

If you turn the Arachnophobia Mode on by accessing Settings from within the game, you’ll have to quit to the Main Menu once for the setting to take effect.

Turning the Arachnophobia Mode on will not change the behavior, attack patterns, and drops of these animals. This mode simply applies a crab skin to all spiders in Hytale. They can still spit venom that does tick damage, move really fast, and follow you for long distances.
