How to beat the Trapper and Trader in Inscryption

Friends become foes.

Inscryption is a dark and atmospheric deck-builder where any moment could be the player's last. There are many challenges the player will face throughout the game, both in card matches and puzzles in Leshy's cabin. This includes boss fights.

Unlike the Angler and Prospector, this boss fight has two opponents. There is the Trapper and the Trader. Once players beat the Trapper, Leshy will swap his mask into the Trader. Both of these opponents use different cards and different strategies.

The Trapper is the first phase. He uses clockwork frogs and traps primarily, which can be a bit of a pain. When the traps are destroyed, they will, in turn, destroy your cards across from them. If you can, use cards with the flying sigil to bypass them or use cards with the bifurcation sigil to attack them diagonally. The frogs will turn into traps after they are destroyed.

The second phase of this boss fight swaps into the Trader. This fight is significantly more challenging as the Trader's board will be completely full of cards. You will have the chance to purchase some of these by trading pelts, so stockpile them if you can before this fight. Alternatively, you can use flying sigil cards to bypass the Trader's cards altogether.
