Which deck should I choose in Act 2 of Inscryption

Choose wisely.

After defeating Leshy in the cabin, you may think that you have beaten the game, especially after unlocking the New Game button. But you have only just beaten Act 1 of Inscryption and unlocked Act 2. Along with gaining more story and background, the player has to choose a deck to start with.

You may be wondering which deck you should choose. You can choose between Leshy's deck, Grimora's deck, P03's deck, or Magnificus' deck. Each one plays differently and has some different mechanics. We recommend choosing either Leshy's deck or Grimora's deck.

These are the deck of beasts and the deck of the dead, respectively. Both decks play similarly to what players had access to in Act 1 of Inscryption and are easier to understand than the deck of magic or the deck of technology. These other decks have unique mechanics that can be hard to understand at first.

While the player will have access to all cards and can edit their deck, starting with Leshy's or Grimora's deck gives them a much stronger start with more options. They play off of blood and bones and complement each other well. The game seemingly knows this as there is an auto-build option for your deck, and it mostly pulls from beast or undead cards.
