Jusant – Release date, gameplay, game pass, & more!

Can you reach all the way to the top?

Jusant is one of the coolest-looking action/puzzles to be revealed at the Xbox Showcase 2023. Being developed by Don't Nod Studios, the developer behind hit games like Remember Me and Life is Strange. The game is about a teen-looking mountain climber who ascends various mountains and landscapes using trekking equipment/objects around him, similar to the climbing mechanism found in Death Stranding. Though the concept sounds boring, the vibrant environment and the implementation of the climbing mechanics in the trailer elevated the gameplay. Read the below guide to learn more details about Jusant.

Jusant Gameplay and Story

Jusant is all about a climber going on a meditative journey to reach the top of the tower to learn all about the civilization and their secrets that lived there before. From the two minutes trailer, we can easily predict that the game's core theme will revolve around climbing mountains and other landforms using pieces of equipment like hooks and ropes, along with maintaining stamina. We still don't know how these concepts will be presented in terms of gameplay and how external factors like wind/dust will affect climbing in the game.

All we know is that the protagonist lives in a small village on the top of a mountain and always carries a cute blue-colored animal called a Ballast in his backpack to find hidden pathways up the cliff face. Let's wait and see all the exciting updates for the game in the coming months.
