What is Gorimondo’s weakness in Kirby and the Forgotten Land?

One copy ability stands above the rest.

One of the many bosses in Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a giant gorilla named Gorimondo. He may seem intimidating at first, but once you know the best way to take him down, his battle is actually much easier than it seems. Being able to take down Gorimondo is all about using the right copy ability the right way.

Choosing a Copy Ability

When you fight Gorimondo in The Brawl at the Mall, you are able to choose from three different copy abilities: Ice, Bomb, and Sword. If it is your first time fighting him, you will only have the base level abilities to choose from. But if you want to beat him again later on, you can also choose from the evolved forms.

While you can choose copy ability, the one that you will want to choose for this method is Ice (or Frosty Ice, if you have unlocked it).

Exploiting Gorimondo’s Weakness

When you are fighting against Gorimondo, you'll want to get in close and freeze him as much as you can while avoid his stomps and hits. He will start to look more and more frozen over time. This is exactly what you want.

If you continue to freeze him all the way, not only will he stop moving for a bit, but he will also lose a huge chunk of health. As shown in the image, it's somewhere around 20% of his entire bar. This makes taking down Gorimondo a spring breeze, even in Wild Mode.
