Kirby must use the Vending Mouth Mouthful Mode to reach the first hidden Waddle Dee. Players should make their way through the icy paths and across a stone block bridge to where two penguin-like creatures are rolling snowballs. Shoot the snowballs with soda cans by pressing the B Button to avoid taking damage. After reaching the cracked garage door, blast it with soda cans to reveal the first Waddle Dee.

Players will need to equip the Ranger Copy Ability before hunting down the next hidden Waddle Dee, which can only be accessed after shooting a target at the end of a line of vanishing blocks. This will unlock a golden gate nearby. Head inside to find another gun-slinging challenge. Players must shoot the pink star button on the top right to open a golden gate, which allows Kirby to blast a moving target. Don't take too long though, as the gate only stays open for a short time. Once this is done, a staircase will move into place leading to the second hidden Waddle Dee.

The last hidden Waddle Dee will require use of the Stairs Mouth Mouthful Mode. Locate the last set of stairs near the end of the stage, and take it off a ledge onto a platform below. Players should notice a cracked wall, which can be smashed by pressing the B Button. Position the stairs underneath the hidden Waddle Dee, and climb on top to reach it.
