How to get first place in Mos Espa Pod Race in LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga

Need some pod racing tips?

In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, players have the chance to play through all of the nine movies in the franchise, with each Episode containing five levels and each level having three Level Challenges. In the second level of Episode I: The Phantom Menace, Anakin Skywalker competes in a Pod Race called the Boonta Eve Classic. One of the Level Challenges, Eat My Exhaust, requires players to beat the Ultimate Lap time record in this race.

One way to gain some time on Anakin's competitors is by taking notice of a Service Ramp on the right side of the track. Keep an eye out for the red glowing lamps, which is where players should know to keep right. This path contains one of the race's boost pads as well, which can be used to knock off a couple of seconds on Anakin's lap time.

In addition to the Service Ramp, players should keep an eye out for other green glowing boost pads around the pod-racing track. The first two can be reached by staying to the left early on in the race. After the Service Ramp, another boost pad can be spotted in the middle of the track. Upon reaching a cave, take the middle path instead of going left or right to find another boost pad. The last boost pad is reached by keeping to the right after exiting the cave.
