"If we can complete our future goals with Len's Island, expanding on the content, adding multiplayer, and working hard on polish and accessibility, the game will be ready for a full launch and the pricing will increase to around $40-50/USD."

In short, whenever or not the price changes depends on what happens during early access. If they complete all of the goals, players can expect a price change when the game launches. 

The pricing will also be changed with indie games in mind, as Len's Island is an indie game and always be according to the developers.

There will also be plenty of time to get the game before any price changes, as it will remain at a low price during early access, based on the amount of content in the game.

Len's island will also remain in early access for around three years, depending on how well things go with the game's development.
