How to get the Signal Translator in Lethal Company

To get the Signal Translator in Lethal Company, you must spend over 255 credits. You can buy the Signal Translator if you have enough via the Store menu. To purchase the ship upgrade, type Signal Translator into the console. Follow the typing Signal Translator by confirm, and the ship upgrade will appear on your ship when you land on a map.

How to use the Signal Translator in Lethal Company

To use the Signal Translator, you must first land on a new map. After landing the ship, you can use the Signal Translator to send a text message to all players in-game. The text message can only be around ten characters, but it is enough to send a warning about specific threats. For example, you could type Giant Outside to warn other players that there is a Giant outside.

If you want to send a signal text to other players using the Signal Translator, first access the Terminal. While accessing the Terminal, you can use the Signal Translator by typing Transmit followed by the text you want to send. For example, what you type into the console should look like Transmit Giant Outside. You could also use the Signal Translator to warn other players about creatures, such as the Flower man near the main entrance. I recommend typing something like Flowerman Fire or Main to warn other players.

Is the Signal Translator worth it in Lethal Company?

The Signal Translator is only worth buying if you play Lethal Company with random players. If you are playing with friends, you can use programs like Discord, Teamspeak, etc., to communicate threats. However, when playing with randoms, you don't have the luxury of easy voice chat and must use the in-game walkie-talkies to communicate. Using walkie-talkies can alert creatures, so that's where the Signal Translator comes in. You can use the Signal Translator to silently warn players of threats without putting yourself or others in danger, making it worth spending credits on.
