Best Weapons Tier List – Lost Castle 2

And 'lo, I took my stave in hand and SHOT FIRE!

There are plenty of weapons in Lost Castle 2, but if you want to find the best ones to carry you through the game without constantly changing them or buying new ones, this tier list is for you. Below, you'll find all weapons in Lost Castle 2, split into type and tier.

Weapon Tier List - Every weapon in Lost Castle 2, ranked

You'll start your adventure with three basic weapons to choose from, but you won't be stuck with these weapon types. There are six categories of weapons in Lost Castle 2: Single-handed, dual blades, two-handed, turbo lances, bows, and staves.

In this tier list, you'll find (almost) every weapon in Lost Castle 2, ranked for your convenience — and to help you take out the monsters you'll face! According to the devs, there are 180 weapons in the game. There are currently 134 on this list, and it will be updated until every one is listed.

Smaller monsters can be taken out in a few hits, and they don't do much damage. The monsters that throw bombs and poison need strategic attacks and decent dodging if you don't want to get accidentally taken out.

Bosses are harder, and each has their own strengths and weaknesses in combat. No boss announces what element it's weak to, so you'll need a mixture of Dodging, decent Ethereal Treasures, and a solid weapon at your side.

Single-Handed Weapons in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SCaptain's Legacy, Demon Bone, Royal Sword, Star Steel Sword, Steel Short Lance.
ACorrosive Slayer, Dragon's Wrath, Forest Sword, Magic Apprentice, Ritual Lance, Star Steel Sword.
BEvil Ghost Hearts, Rustforge Halberd, Sanctuary Sword.
CCavalry Short Lance, Imperial Sword, Ironforge Battler.
DBlack Iron Hammer, Cooking Utensils, Goblin's Rogue's Dagger, Imperial Guardian, Iron Sword.

In a game with almost 200 weapons, I won't sit here and go through each one and it's benefits for you. I will, however, tell you which is my favorite S-Tier weapon and which is my favorite starting weapon with less than 40 ATK (these are usually found within the Forest or the Cemetary, or you may start with the one I choose).

For single-handed weapons, my preferred S-Tier is the Magic Apprentice. This weapon starts out with 41 attack points, which may not be a lot, but you can always use the upgrade furnace in the merchant's area to mess with that. What matters is the effect, which makes the damage of all shield attacks and shield skills increase by 55% when your Block Points are full. Amazing.

As for a starter weapon, go for the Cooking Utensils as soon as you can. They restore a small amount of Alchemy Elixir after an attack.

Dual Blades in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SBlack & White, Corrosive Dual Blades, Demon Dual Blades, Evil Steel Blades, Ice of the Frost Sun, Monolith Shatter.
ADouble Maces, Imperial Guard's Blades, Reversed-Blade Cutter.
BAmber Blades, Black Iron Hammers, Flame of the Full Moon, Giant Scissors, Lightning Edges, Purity & Justice
CIron Double Axes, Ironwood Blades, Mithril Short Swords, Ritual Copper Hammers, River Masters, Sanctuary Daggers.
DIron Dual Blades, Iron Double Hooks, Meat Mincer.

Dual-blades were my preferred close-range weapon when I was adventuring to make this guide. You start out with the Iron Dual Blades, which are ridiculously good for a first weapon! I actually found myself holding onto them for a while because I liked the Combo Points and fast attacks, but I felt pressured to take on a higher attack weapon when I didn't want to — you can see the comparison between two weapons, and the attack difference is big and bold.

As for my S-Tier choice... that would be the Corrosive Dual Blades with 49 attack points and a special finisher which does an extra 18% damage. Snacky.

Two-Handed Weapons in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SBlazing Blade, Demon Slayer, Flame Giant's Axe, Flame Knight's Sword, Iron Sword, Prajna Ichimonji, Solar Blaze, Whisperstone.
ABeast Bone, Black Gold Hammer, Blade of the Soul, Dance of Fire & Ice, Iron Machete, Ironwood Sword, Reaper's Slice.
BBat Knight's Sword, Corrosive Guardian, Destroyer, Dungeon Guard's Axe, Frozen Blade, Ghost Muramasa, Rock Hammer.
CCrystal Scale Blade, Goblin's Trophy, Hacking Blade, Monolith Maul, Wooden Katana.
DEvil Ritual Sword, Giant Iron Axe, Iron Sword, Katana, Sword in Stone.

I was not a fan of two-handed weapons at all. I found them incredibly slow and clunky, but they might suit your playstyle better than mine. Funnily enough, the best beginner weapon is also the best S-Tier - the Iron Sword, with 30 attack points, gains Charge Value after hitting enemies. This makes your charge attacks more powerful, and you can follow up with a nice basic attack or special attack for extra damage.

Turbo Lances in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SBudding Forest, Celadon Lance, Noble Crystal Lance.
ASoul Furnace, Toxic Plant.
BBrass Turbo Lance, Ironwood Lance, Pumpkin Stove.
CCorrosive Turbo Lance, Knight's Lance, Sanctuary Lance.
DDemon Spine, Iron Turbo Lance.

Turbo lances are strange weapons. They don't function the way you think they're going to, often shooting things out of the end rather than being used to stab or strike. If you can quickly get your hands on a Sanctuary Lance, you've set yourself up for a good few areas. This weapon, with 31 attack points, shoots a beam of light into the sky to hit the nearest enemy. Using your basic attack triggers extra damage!

The Sanctuary Lance was ALMOST my favorite weapon, but it was outshined by the S-Tier ranked Celadon Lance, which fires a cluster of flame projectiles into the air to target the closest enemy. 57 attack points, and utterly beautiful.

Bows in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SArrow of Evil Charm, Deep-Sea Gaze, Wood Strong Bow.
ADemon Shooter, Horns of the Mad Bull, Lava Striker, Magic Crystal Bow, Vine Bow.
BArrow of Ice, Bow of Gravity, Corrupt-Bone Bow, Golden Battler, Imperial Bow, Lightning Arc, Rose Vine.
CHard Brass Bow, Ironwood Ranger Bow, Sanctuary Bow, Scarlet Thorns.
DAlchemy Syringe, Emerald Mechanism Bow, Ritual Longbow, Wooden Hunting Bow.

Bows are fun to use in Lost Castle 2, with plenty of great effects to play with. The Wooden Hunting Bow that you start with is okay, but switch it out for a Sanctuary Bow as soon as possible. This fires an arrow that shocks enemies with its 33 attack points, perfect if you need a moment to regroup or escape a cluster of zombies.

My S-Tier bow pick is the Wood Strong Bow. I really enjoy the electricity and lightning choices in Lost Castle 2, and this bow has a decent 49 attack points that will be even better once you upgrade it. Enjoy shooting a powerful lightning arrow that delivers a continuous electric shock after hitting your enemies!

Staves in Lost Castle 2, ranked

TierWeapon Name, ATK, and Effect
SBlessing Wings, Dark Disaster, Sapphire & Copper Staff, Eye of Corrosion, Imperial Staff, Sacrificial Staff, Voodoo Cultist's Wand.
AFrost Whisperer, Oak Staff, Sanctuary Staff.
BFire Crystal Staff, Luna's Staff, Pure Crystal Wand, Noble Staff.
CDemon's Jewel, Evil Gaze, Poisonous Spore Wand.
DChampion's Token, Glimmering Staff, Plant Staff.

Last, but not least, we have the staves of Lost Castle 2. Several of the lower attack point staves are highly effective, but I'd specifically like to point out the Oak Staff so that you can cast a burning meteor fragment at your enemies. It's only 29 attack points, but I love a bit of fire magic.

As for an S-Tier staff, go for the Sacrificial Staff, no question. Although it has 31 attack points, this staff releases corrosive souls that target your enemies. Wonderful.
