The Juke move may be one of the most reliable and satisfying moves to pull off in Madden. Juking in Madden 23 has upgraded with the new FieldSense controls, giving you more realistic cuts and juke moves.
Here is how to juke in Madden 23:
- PlayStation: Flick Right Stick (Left/Right for Juke, Down for Dead Leg Juke)
- Xbox: Flick Right Stick (Left/Right for Juke, Down for Dead Leg Juke)
- PC: A for Left Juke, D for Right Juke, S for Dead Leg Juke
Tips for Juking in Madden 23
Juking in Madden 23 can be done by just using the right stick or keys on PC, but to really perfect the Juke move, you must also utilize turbo, movement, and timing. The Juke move can be used to avoid defenders or shrug off tackles completely. Your Juke move also depends on how you are running. For example, if your player is running with turbo around a corner, juking inside will make them quickly plant and change directions. If they are not using turbo running in a straight line, they will most likely do a jump cut juke.
There are various ways to pull off jukes, which can be used as a combo with other moves such as the spin or stiff arm in Madden 23. To do a double juke, flick the right stick one way, then quickly flick it the other way. The drop leg Juke is also an effective move to beat defenders coming at you at an angle from the side or behind.
The drop leg Juke can also be used differently. If used while sprinting with turbo, the player will shuffle step to slow down slightly and will try to avoid tackles. The drop leg Juke can also be used when changing directions or slowing down to do a hop-step backward to avoid any dive tackles or over-committed defenders.
