Standard Golf

In this game mode, players can run a standard game of golf. This means that it follows the basic rules of golf in that the player with the lowest score at the end of the game wins! Like in most standard golf games, there will be obstacles or weather conditions that will make each course more difficult.

  • Players: Up to four.
  • Multiplayer: Online and Local.
  • Course: Your choice from six unlockable courses.
  • Holes: Your choice of 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes.
  • Play: Take turns or have everyone play at the same time. Win by having the lowest score at the end of the course.

Speed Golf

In this game mode, players race against each other to sink their ball the fastest for each hole. This is a fast-paced game mode that makes all players play together and gives them the ability to interrupt other players with special abilities and shots.

  • Players: Up to four.
  • Multiplayer: Online and Local.
  • Course: Your choice from six unlockable courses.
  • Holes: Your choice of 3, 6, 9, or 18 holes.
  • Play: Everyone plays at the same time.

Solo Challenge

This game mode works as the primary method of training and improving your skills in the game. Players can use it to test new techniques, experiment on each level, or try to set new records!

  • Players: One player.
  • Multiplayer: None.
  • Course: Your choice from six unlockable courses.
  • Holes: 18 holes for each course.
  • Play: Beat your best score in Score Attack, or beat your best time in Time Attack.

Battle Golf

In this game mode, players go head-to-head in a free-for-all battle with new obstacles, a new type of competition, and different styles of play. Each hole on the course starts off open and is closed when a player sinks a ball. The only way to win is to sink three balls before the other players!

  • Players: Up to four.
  • Multiplayer: Local and Online.
  • Course: One pre-set course.
  • Holes: 9 holes for each game.
  • Play: All players play at the same time.

Golf Adventure

In this game mode, players set up their own Mii Character to join a golf country club and raise their player rank from rookie to pro. This mode is like an RPG but for golf!

  • Players: One player - your chosen Mii character or one you make from scratch.
  • Multiplayer: None.
  • Course: Play through the pre-selected courses and levels.
  • Holes: Play through the pre-selected courses and levels.
  • Play: Fight against bosses, earn XP from training and winning matches, and level up to improve your rank.
