Marvel Rivals is an upcoming 6v6 hero shooter from NetEase and Marvel Games which will have famous heroes and villains from the Marvel universe. The game's been announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox and the closed beta test is starting soon. Here's everything you need to know about it.
Marvel Rivals closed beta signup and dates
With the recent announcement of Marvel Rivals coming to consoles, a closed beta test was also announced for the consoles alongside PC (Steam). As part of this console beta announcement, we got a look at the official gameplay of two new characters, Venom and Adam Warlock.
According to Producer Stephen Wu, the closed beta will start in July of this year. To register for the closed beta keep an eye on the official website, Discord server, and socials for the game as more details regarding the process will be revealed soon.
If it's anything like the closed alpha test, then you will have to register via a form that requires entering some details and answering some questions based on your gaming preferences and habits. If you manage to get into the beta, you'll then receive an email informing you of the next steps to get it downloaded.
Marvel Rivals PS5 exclusive skin
To celebrate the announcement of Marvel Rivals coming to PS5, users who log in to their console will receive the exclusive Scarlet Spider costume for Spider-Man when the game goes live. When you log in to the game after it releases, then you'll be able to equip this costume.
Marvel Rivals release date and platforms
The release date for Marvel Rivals hasn't been confirmed as the gaming is still in the testing phase. The closed alpha test for the game has ended recently and we will probably get a proper release window after the closed beta test ends. The game will be released on Windows and macOS via Steam and Epic Games as well as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
