Best Characters in Marvel Strike Force

Top three overall best characters in Marvel Strike Force.

With such a huge character pool in Marvel Strike Force, it can be challenging for players of all levels to figure out which ones to keep, which to invest in, and which to make plug-in and play characters. Let's figure that out and get right down to business.

Kestrel

Kestrel is, hands-down, the best plug-in and play character for various reasons. Her biggest advantage is having two tags to her name. Being labeled as Tech and Skill makes her extremely versatile and works with any Tech or Skill ally. In addition to this, Kestrel is an absolute powerhouse.

Her basic, Aerial Ace, delivers over 300% damage and Defense Down for two turns. Her Dimensional Assault is practically a one-shot kill and absolutely wrecks anything its path. Overall, she is not someone to mess with in any game mode. Kestrel stands tall at the forefront as one of the most lethal offensive weapons in the game.

Silver Surfer

Galactus' herald Silver Surfer is another character that's a universal positive for all kinds of teams. Silver Surfer delivers massive amounts of damage as most of his attacks affect the opponent's whole team rather than one individual character at a time. His special, Event Horizon, goes for 350% damage, which also clears Immunity and applies Heal Block for two turns.

Sentinel of Spaceways—Silver Surfer's other attack—distributes 600% damage to enemies, applies Disrupted for two turns, attacks adjacent enemies for 200% damage, and applies Defense Down. Silver Surfer performs best with a Cosmic team, but he can be used in a Mystic team as well.

Dr. Doom

Dr. Doom has been referred to as a one-man army. He can be placed on almost any team you create where he will deliver the most damage and wipe out the enemy team alone if given enough speed. Doom's biggest advantage is his ultimate ability: Time Platform. This clears all negative effects from himself, the most injured ally, and the ally with the highest damage. Simultaneously, this move enables Doom to heal himself and the most injured ally (non-summoned) for 100%.

Another move that should strike fear into your opponents is Doom's passive ability. Doombot Legion allows Dr. Doom to summon Doombots in addition to applying certain effects to the enemy team. If Doom has two or more Doombots, he can apply Defense Up for two turns. If he has three or more Doombots, he can apply Speed Up for two turns. If four or more bots are present, he applies Offense Up to his teammates for two turns.

These three characters stand out as promising toons to rank up, invest in, and plug in anywhere you prefer. They will obviously perform best with other characters that have the same tags, but they can get the job done with toons outside of their categories as well. As always, keep on Strike Forcin'!
