In Pixelmon, Shiny Stones are Held Items that force certain Pokémon to evolve into their next form. In this guide, we will cover both ways to obtain the Shiny Stone and how it can be used.
How to get a Shiny Stone in Pixelmon
The primary way to get a Shiny Stone is through crafting. To do this, you will need to access your Crafting Table with nine Shiny Stone Shards in your inventory. In the image below, you'll see you need to place a Shiny Stone Shard in each Crafting Slot.
The second way to get a Shiny Stone is much less efficient, and to many players isn't considered worth the hassle. It can be rarely found as a tier 2 Special Drop in PokéLoot Chests or from the ability Pickup. Since Special Drops provide Shiny Stones so rarely, it's best to craft them yourself.
There are two ways to get Shiny Stone Shards for crafting a Shiny Stone. You can either get them as Foraged items or Pokémon Drops. The list below shows you the chances of getting Shiny Stone Shards from each method.
- Pokémon Drops
- Murkrow: 5%
- Minior: 100%
- Foraging on Stone-based Blocks
- Fairy Pokémon: 2.632%
- Normal Pokémon: 3.125%
Once you have obtained a Shiny Stone, you may use it to evolve any of the following Pokémon in to their next form.
- Roselia > Roserade
- Togetic > Togekiss
- Minccino > Cinccino
- Floette > Florges
That's all you need to know about these rare evolutionary items!
