How to get the Eye of Ender in Minecraft

This item will help you reach the End Portal in no time.

Eyes of Ender are necessary items to acquire in order to reach The End and fight the Ender Dragon. Not only is the Eye of Ender necessary to activate the End Portal, these items will guide you toward the End Portal stronghold. This guide will show you how to get the Eye of Ender in Minecraft by crafting the proper materials.

What you will Need

Two items are required to craft an Eye of Ender:

1 Ender Pearl and 1 Blaze Powder will make 1 Eye of Ender.

Ender Pearls are earned by slaying Enderman.

Blaze Powder can be crafted from Blaze Rods, an additional item that you will need. Blaze Rods are earned by slaying Blazes. For every 1 Blaze Rod you place in the crafting table, you will receive 2 Blaze Powder.

How to make an Eye of Ender

To craft an Eye of Ender, place 1 Ender Pearl and 1 Blaze Powder into a Crafting Table. Continue crafting until you have the necessary amount of Eyes of Ender.

Alternatively: Cleric Villagers will also sell players Eyes of Ender for 7-11 emeralds. This is part of their Tier III trades.

Assuming that you are crafting Eyes of Ender to reach The End, you will need approximately 30 Eyes of Ender in total. 12 of these Eyes of Ender are required to activate the End Portal. The remaining Eyes of Ender will be used to guide you toward the End Portal stronghold. Therefore, you will need around 30 Ender Pearls and 30 Blaze Powder to craft the correct amount of Eyes of Ender.
