Will Monark Demo progress carry over to the full game?

More than a waste of time?

NIS America, former Shin Megami Tensai devs, have announced that they are releasing a demo for their upcoming game Monark. With the game releasing in just under a month, fans are no doubt itching to get a taste of it. Luckily, the demo for the game has already been released, and players can currently hop right into it. Here is everything you need to know about Monark's Demo.

This demo will give players a chance to play a significant chunk of the final game, with the PlayStation store description stating it will let you play all the way through Chapter 1. Typically this isn't preferred, as players would have to play through this section again when the full game comes out. However, the progress made within the demo will transfer over to the full game, allowing players to get a headstart on the game for free.

Monark's demo is currently available to download on the PlayStation Store for both PS4 and PS5 and on the Nintendo eShop for the Switch. Unfortunately, there is currently not a copy of the demo available on PC, even though the full game will release on the platform.

So there you have it, the Monark demo will allow players to transfer their progress to the full game. It will be interesting to see if this demo helps to sell players on this game, releasing in one of the busiest months for games all year.

I've been playing video games for the past 15 years and every time I turn one on, it feels like the very first time. Since I liked games so much, I decided that I would write about them.
