Monster Hunter Rise is known for its legendary boss battles with various creatures that populate the world. Players must track these creatures down before slaying them on the battlefield for resources. However, those who go into battle unprepared may find themselves outmatched, especially with foes like the Goss Harag. Make sure you study up on this creature before picking a fight.
When fighting this beast, it's good to know what it's weak against or where to inflict that good old damage to slaughter the foe quickly. So here's Goss Harag's weaknesses, resistances, and drop rates.
All Goss Harag Weaknesses
Goss Harag Elemental Weakness
The main weakness of Goss Harag is fire, but if you have a thunder weapon, that offers more damage than no element at all. Do not use the water, ice, or dragon elements in battle with the Goss Harag, as these elements are ineffective. Here are the locations where you should attack Goss Harag for extra elemental damage.
Make sure to hone in on the Foreleg, Ice Clump, Back, and Hind Leg if using a fire weapon. If you've started a fight with a thunder weapon, target the Head, Foreleg, and Back instead.
