Mutant Summoners: All Units Ranked

After testing every unit, we have placed them in different sections according to their skills, effectiveness, and how valuable they are in a team. Characters in higher tiers have more damage and bonus stats to help them take down powerful bosses and enemies. Whereas, characters in lower tiers are best avoided or swapped out as soon as you can.

Meta Units (S Tier)

As the name suggests, all units in this tier are in the current meta due to their powerful skills and attacks. They provide the most value to your team and will carry you through difficult missions.

Han Xin	+ Deals 181% physical DMG to a random enemy on turn 1, ignoring 20% DEF. + Has increased stats (ATK, Crit, and Crit DMG) due to his passive
Sanada Yukimura	+ Good Initiative (115 by default) allows him to make moves before the enemy. + Can stack ATK every time he is attacked, making him a massive threat as the round goes on.
Dante	+ She gains 5% ATK whenever she attacks. This can stack, making her hit like a truck as the round progresses. + High HP, which is further increased thanks to bonus passive stats.

Exceptionally Strong (A Tier)

These units are powerful on their own and can be extremely valuable when put in the right team. Even if they aren't in the meta right now, they can hold their own and be useful in your team. With a little buff, these characters can easily be S-tier.

Patton	+ High HP. + Strong bonus passive stats (20% HP, 10% ATK, +5 Initiative)
Joan of Arc	+ She provides a strong debuff that can remove enemy critical hits for 2 turns. + She gains a lot of good stats like Initiative, so she attacks before the enemy.
Himiko	+ Gains +15% ATK and +5% Crit, making her good for dealing damage + She can inflict a Curse on enemies to enhance her damage and debuff the opponent.
Akechi Mitsuhide	+ Gains bonus stats (20% HP, 10% ATK, and 5% Crit). This makes her a strong character without having to do much. + Gains damage for every hero that dies, making her an extremely powerful character as the round goes on.

Mid (B Tier)

While these characters aren't the best, you can use them if you don't have any of the above units. Try to replace them as soon as possible if you get better options, since they can't keep up with higher-tier units.

Edison	+ Offers good utility by healing allies who crit. + Strong passive stats (20% HP, 10% ATK, and +5 Initiative) along with providing good debuffs.
Li Taipo	+ Has tons of HP, making her sustain damage. + She can provide heals for the team, which is a great utility spell to have. - Her DEF is low.
Grimm	+ She has useful debuffs, forcing the enemy to wait for it to run out or waste a turn to dispel them. + Has good bonus ATK stats thanks to her passive. - Despite having a +10% HP buff, her HP isn't that high.
Tesla	+ Gains bonus ATK and Crit, making her hit like a truck. + She can apply debuffs to the enemy from her attacks. - Low DEF.
Watt	+ He has tons of HP, making him the perfect tank for your team. + When attacked, he has a chance to inflict debuffs on the attacker. This increases his tank potential further. - Extremely low ATK. He has to rely on good DPS to carry.
Lala	+ She deals bonus DMG (15%) to all enemies with over 70% HP. + Gains +15% bonus ATK, making her a threat to bosses or tougher enemies. - Low DEF.

Extremely Situational (C Tier)

Some of the units in this tier are decent, but due to relying on their team too much, they become situational. Given the option, you should swap out these units immediately.

Hatori Hanzo	+ Gains a lot of bonus ATK, giving her one-shot potential on certain enemies. - Extremely low DEF makes her vulnerable to attacks.
Achilles	+ Can share damage between his team, making them take less damage. - Despite gaining bonus DEF, he still takes a lot of damage. - Relies on his team due to his utility abilities.
Raffaello	+ Deals bonus damage to targets below 50% HP, making her useful against low HP enemies. - Her DEF is quite low, making her take bonus damage.
Hercules	+ Provides good utility thanks to her healing spells. - Relies on a good DPS or tank to help her win. - Low DEF.
Nobel	+ She deals 60% energy DMG to all enemies and has a chance to apply ignite. This is useful against bosses with high HP. - She doesn't have a lot of HP, making her a vulnerable target. - Needs a lot of upgrades and gear to make her valuable for her cost.
Arthur	+ He can protect strong allies, making him a useful utility support for your team. - Doesn't provide good damage to justify his cost. - Relies on his team to deal damage or carry rounds.
Sissi	+ Gains tons of ATK and HP due to her stats and passive abilities. - Her skills have a high cooldown (3 turns), making her useless in those turns. - Low ATK.

Avoid (D Tier)

Try to avoid these units at all costs. They are only there for gacha purposes, and are not worth upgrading or putting in your team. These units do not have useful skills or attacks that justify putting in effort to build the character. Any unit from the game not mentioned here falls into this list due to having more or less the same issues.

Drake	- Only has 3 skills, making her weaker than other characters. - While she does have good ATK, her HP and DEF are too low.
Einstein	- She has fewer skills compared to other characters, making her weak by default. - Low HP means that she is a vulnerable target.
Targaryen	- Has low DEF, forcing her to take tons of damage on every attack. - Despite having a useful utility passive, it is extremely situational. If the enemy doesn't have a support, her abilities aren't useful.
Genghis Khan	- Relies heavily on her initiative to be higher than the enemy, or she won't deal enough damage. - Low DEF.
