NBA 2K24 has been announced with some exciting new features coming to the next installment. The first news of NBA 2K24 came with the reveal of the cover athlete and the release of pre-orders. 2K24 will have a feature that I and many 2K fans have been waiting for, and more are expected to be announced closer to the release date. NBA 2K24 Release Date

NBA 2K24 is scheduled to release on September 8, 2023. Based on the pre-order bonuses, there will be no early access in NBA 2K24, so all versions of the game are expected to be playable on the same day.

Does NBA 2K24 have crossplay?

NBA 2K24 will be the first 2K title with crossplay across consoles. The much-requested feature will finally allow players across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The feature will not be available to players on PC, Switch, or the last-gen versions of the game.

Who is the 2K24 cover athlete?

Lakers legend Kobe Bryant will grace the cover of NBA 2K24 and will be on the cover of the Kobe Bryant Edition and the Black Mamba Edition. New York Liberty star player Sabrina Ionescu will be the cover athlete of the WNBA Edition. NBA 2K24 will mark Kobe Bryant's sixth time being on the NBA 2K cover, as he was previously on the cover of 2K10, 2K17, and two editions of 2K21.

What platforms will NBA 2K24 be on?

NBA 2K24 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The crossplay feature will only apply to the new-gen versions, so Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch will only be able to play online with players of the same console.
