NBA 2K24 has made some changes to the Badge system, and it has resulted in some fan-favorites being removed such as Volume Shooter and Floor General. Badges are separated into different categories, and they'll require you to reach certain attribute requirements.
How to get Badges in NBA 2K24
Getting a badge is as simple as hitting the attribute ratings required for them. As an example, unlocking the Bronze Claymore badge only requires 60 Three-Point Shot rating. Upgrading it to Silver means you need 70 Three-Point Rating, so you'll need to constantly be improving in that area to upgrade it beyond Bronze.
The same thing goes for all Badges, so you'll just need to look at what's required for the ones you want and then getting your attributes to that level. This shouldn't be too difficult as your character's build should already be tailored toward unlocking certain badges. Badges will greatly help out any build, and sharpshooters should already be working toward a high Three-Point Shot rating as it is.
How to progress Badges in NBA 2K24
Badges are separated into four different tiers – C-Tier, B-Tier, A-Tier, and S-Tier – and you'll be wanting to go for the S-Tier options when you can as those are the best. Progressing them into higher stages will be done by using them in games. This means each time you see it pop up in a game means you'll be progressing them.
For example, having the Middy Magician Badge equipped but never actually using it in a game won't cause it to get any better. Luckily, games aren't the only way for you to progress a badge. You can do this at the Team Practice Facility, the Gatorade Training Facility, and at Chris Brickley’s Gym. Badges will never drop below the Bronze level, but it does become harder to keep them above that as they level up.
