The popular streaming service, Netflix, has bought Texas-based mobile gaming studio Boss Fight Entertainment. This comes as another part of Netflix's campaign to integrate gaming into their platform.
On the Newsroom section of their website, Netflix confirmed the acquisition of Boss Fight Entertainment on March 24, 2022. This is not the only gaming studio that Netflix has purchased. For example, the streaming company purchased gaming studio Night School in 2021. Netflix has been slowly but surely adding gaming assets to their platform in an apparent bid to eventually have a large-scale gaming portion of the service.

Boss Fight Entertainment was founded in 2013 in Allen, Texas, by a group of long-time gaming industry workers who wanted to branch out on their own. This studio has worked hard to break into the gaming world with titles like Dungeon Boss for many years. Now, they will be working with Netflix to bring more gaming experiences to the streaming platform. The studio seems pleased with their being purchased, even going to Twitter to praise the move.
