CD Projekt Red says the Witcher medallion they teased is a lynx

In the last few days, CD Projekt Red, the creators of The Witcher franchise, has teased a new game to come out at an unknown later date. While players await more information about the game, a small detail about the teaser photo has been confirmed.

Robert Purchese from Eurogamer confirms that they have received word from CD Projekt Red's communication director Robert Malinowski that there is more to the medallion in the teaser photo for the new game than meets the eye. Malinowski has confirmed that the medallion laying in the snow is a lynx. This detail may provide deeper insight into what players can expect from the next game.

Players have not been given many other details about what the next game in The Witcher saga will hold. One detail that is available to the public is that the game will be made on Unreal Engine 5, the first The Witcher game to do so. This decision is part of a larger partnership between CD Projekt Red and Epic Games on the horizon. There is no date announced for beta or release of the game, nor has the name been given.
