Nintendo Switch Sports is a follow-up to the classic Wii Sports. This mixed sports game is for the Nintendo Switch and offers numerous sports to play online or offline with motion controls. This may leave you wondering if Nintendo Switch Sports supports the Pro Controller.

The answer is—Nintendo Switch Sports does not support the Pro Controller, only the Joy-Cons. This means that you have to use the Joy-Cons and motion control inputs to play Nintendo Switch Sports.

Can you use the Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch Sports?

With Joy-Cons only being supported, you cannot use the Pro Controller for Nintendo Switch Sports. The game is played with one or two Joy-Con controllers, with the soccer game having an additional leg strap.

While no Pro Controller support is disappointing, it does mean that Nintendo can all focus on making the motion controls the best they can be. Besides, it wouldn't be the same if you weren't flailing your arms around like Wii Sports!
