Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero story and gameplay details

Phantom Brave follows the story of Marona, a young girl living in the world of Ivoire. The girl is an orphan but possesses a special power that allows her to communicate with phantoms from other realms. Marona's phantom companion and good friend, Ash, is in trouble, so she sets off on a journey to rescue the phantom from pirates.

In Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, you can use different strategies to win turn-based battles. The main highlight of the gameplay is the confine mechanic which allows you to combine your summoned phantom with different objects and gadgets to bring out various attack styles. The game offers over 50 different characters and 300 skills for you to master.

For instance, you can combine your befriended phantom with a cannon to attack a large area with a bombardment. You can even confine them to a fan and then use it to blow away the enemies. Most importantly, you can combine a phantom with Marona herself to transform the character with super powerful abilities.

There are three main characters in Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero:

  • Marona: A girl who can speak with the spirits of the dead, also known as phantoms.
  • Ash: The Phantom of a young man who's always there to support Marona.
  • Apricot: A lonely phantom girl who longs to reunite with her father.

When does Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero release?

Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero doesn't have a confirmed release date yet, but it has been officially scheduled for a 2025 launch. You can follow the game developers' Twitter page for updates on the game's release date. We'll also update this post once this has been announced.
