How to complete Lighthouse Restoration in Octopath Traveler 2

Where is that reflector?

Lighthouse Restoration is a side story in Octopath Traveler 2 you can pick up very early into the game. At Canalbrine, the local lighthouse keeper is looking for a new reflector to replace the one that broke. He tells you that another lighthouse might have one—but where do you find one?

Second lighthouse location in Octopath Traveler 2

The second lighthouse can only be reached via boat. You’ll need to set sail from New Delsta Harbor and travel north. There’s a gigantic lighthouse built over there, and the resident lighthouse keeper will have the Aelmorite Reflector that you need. Be sure you have someone whose Path Action can take things, like Agnea (Entreat), Osvald (Mug), and Partitio (Purchase).

How to get a boat in Octopath Traveler 2

If you don’t have a boat yet, you can get it early on, as long as you have the guts and resources. It’s the reward for completing the Scent of Commerce side story in Tropu’hopu (Wildlands). Travel to east Tropu’hopu and speak to the boat architect. To trigger the quest, Partitio the Merchant must be in your party.

The Tropu’hopu Scent of Commerce story is easy to complete… as long as you have 100,000G with you. Partitio will be using it to buy a boat, see. If you’re strapped for cash, we have this money grinding guide to help. This boat will also be what you’ll need to get one of the hidden jobs in Octopath Traveler 2, called The Arcanist. It’s a great subclass for mages like Osvald.
