Blizzard Entertainment announced that a Beta for Overwatch 2 PVP is available to sign up right now. You can sign up by going to the Beta Sign Up webpage, scrolling down to the bottom of the page, and clicking the Sign Up Now button. You'll need to sign in with your Battle Net log-in, but once you are you should be able to sign in for the Beta. The Beta is only for PC.
Update: The PVP Beta will begin on April 26. The Overwatch 2 PVP beta will include a new hero, 4 new maps, a new mode called Push, and a new Ping System. The new hero is called Sojourn, who is featured in the promo image for the Beta. The character has a cybernetic arm, making them a very technology-advanced hero.
There are reports that players are not able to sign up on the webpage. Blizzard has responded to these issues, promising to increase the capacity on the website. If you are hit with an error that says "[w]e couldn't sign up. Try again in a bit," then keep reloading the webpage and try signing up again. That's your only option until Blizzard reveals more.
