How to deal with radiation damage in Pacific Drive

I'm not leaving the garage without my Lead Apron.

Radiation will steadily reduce your health, especially if there is an Anomaly or a Condition that increases its levels. Here's how to deal with radiation damage in Pacific Drive without having to use a First Aid Kit all the time.

How to avoid radiation damage in Pacific Drive

Just like with electrical damage, there are both Anomalies as well as Junction Conditions that will damage your car with radiation. If you are out of the car, it will be steadily reducing your health as well. Check out how to avoid radiation damage in Pacific Drive below.

You want your car to always be in drivable condition to avoid dying and losing all of your things and your progress. It's essential to upgrade it with the best protection and not just rush in. Take it from someone who has lost so many tools and materials because I didn't take the time to build up the car's damage resistance.

On the Fabricator, under the Car Body tab, you will find three upgrades that will increase radiation resistance. You can get these blueprints once you've unlocked the Steel Panel, Door, and Bumper. Once you have them unlocked, you can head over to the Basic Workbench to craft them.

The car is your best protection, but once you are outside, sometimes there's no avoiding radiation. For example, when you are bringing Energy Anchors to the ARC Device, you'll definitely be taking damage. To protect yourself, you can use the Outfitting Station. This is a Garage upgrade that you can unlock at the Fabricator. Once you have it set up, you can make three outfits for radiation protection.
