How to use the Transmuter in Pacific Drive

A picture isn't a thousand words in this case, I need actual words.

While some devices are pretty self-explanatory, I was finding it difficult to figure out how to use the Transmuter in Pacific Drive. However, this device is quite simple and can become pretty useful on your runs.

How to get materials from the Transmuter in Pacific Drive

If you are in need of materials, a potential source for you is a Transmuter. However, it can get confusing how this device works, so check out how to get materials from the Transmuter in Pacific Drive.

The Transmuter is a device that will take one type of material and transform it into a different one. Keep in mind it doesn't always transform the same materials. This means you can't really plan on hunting one down to get Chemicals, for example. You can try to pack a stack of the same type of material in your side storage, though I wouldn't recommend this. It's just taking up space, which could be used for new materials that you collect in the junction.

For me, these machines are best stumbled upon, and with luck, you'll have exactly what they are looking for. You can find them most often in ARDA buildings, either in the trailers or in towers. I recommend heading to towers if you see them on the map, as they almost always have a Transmuter.

To find one, make sure to go to a junction that has a high density of buildings. You check this on the map in the garage before picking out a route. This way, you will ensure that you will at least have a few ARDA buildings spawned, or a lot if you are lucky.

When you get to a junction, head to the towers first to check what the Transmuter can give you. So far, I've seen Bulbs turn to Lead Platelets and Plastic to Chemicals, but I've seen others get different options. If it's a material you need, then go around the junction to collect the required material.

You should pack all your tools for resource collecting: the Scrapper, Hand Vac, Liberator, Impact Hammer, and Prybar. Pack them all in your trunk if you don't want to be like me. I forgot to pack the vacuum and had no way of getting intact Bulbs to trade with the Transmuter.

I haven't noticed a set number of materials that you need to put in, but it should definitely be more than three. I've tried with less, and it was not working. You'll want to have a lot anyway so that you can get as much of the other material as possible.
