How to get Leather, Fabric, and Silk in Palia

Leather, fabric, and silk are some of the essential materials that you'll need to craft various items in Palia. For instance, I used leather to craft the Glider, a helpful gadget that allows players to travel much faster. Similarly, fabric and silk are useful for crafting furniture and making clothes. With that said, this guide will show you the best ways to obtain leather, fabric, and silk in Palia.

Palia — Leather, Fabric, and Silk Farming Guide

There are mainly two ways to farm leather, fabric, and silk in Palia:

• Purchase them from eligible vendors using gold coins
• Craft these materials using a fabric maker

How To Purchase Leather, Fabric, and Silk in Palia

You can purchase leather, fabric, and silk in Palia from the shops located in Kilima Village, the starting point of the game. Within Kilima Village, there are two vendors that offer these materials: Tish’s furniture shop and Zeki’s general store.

To purchase items from Tish’s Furniture, simply enter the shop and press the interaction key while standing in front of the cash register. The following are the prices for leather, silk, and fabric at Tish’s shop:

• Leather: 60 Coins
• Silk: 145 Coins
• Fabric: 190 Coins

On the other hand, Zeki’s general store sells Sernuk hide, a special raw material used for crafting leather. You can buy Sernuk hide Zeki for 30 Coins each. However, it’s important to note that transforming Sernuk hide into leather requires a fabric maker.

How to Craft Leather, Fabric, and Silk Using Fabric Maker

If you’re running low on gold coins, you can still obtain leather, fabric, and silk in Palia by crafting these materials using a fabric maker. However, you’ll need to unlock the recipe for the fabric maker first by raising your furniture-making skill to level 2. After that, you’ll need to purchase the fabric maker recipe from Tish for 100 Coins.

Once you have a fabric maker at your workbench, you can craft leather, fabric, and silk by collecting these materials:

• Leather: To create one unit of leather, you’ll need 1x Sernuk Hide.
• Fabric: You need 1x Cotton to produce one unit of fabric, which takes about eight minutes. Cotton can be farmed by growing cotton seeds on your plot.
• Silk: You’ll need to collect 5x silk threads to produce one unit of silk. Silk threads are usually obtained from insects, including Azure Stonehoppers, Princess Ladybugs, and Shiny Centipedes.
