Shadowbeak is definitely a Pal you want in your collection, being one of the best combat companions out there. Thankfully, there is another way you can get besides fighting one in the wild, and that's through Breeding. Here's how to breed one!
Palworld Shadowbeak Breeding Guide
Capturing Pals is one of the key elements of the game, but it's not the only way you can add Pals to your team. You can hatch them, including the powerful Shadowbeak, right at your base. However, to do so, you need the right combination of Pals for Breeding and the proper structures.
To get started, you must have the Breeding Farm unlocked and placed down at your base. It is in Technology 19, and will require these materials to build:
- Wood x100
- Stone x20
- Fiber x50
Once you have the Breeding Farm built, ensure you have a chest with a piece of Cake inside it right beside it. Then, place one male Pal and one female Pal inside to start the process. The combination of Pals you can use to create a Shadowbeak is one Kitsun and one Astegon. After a while, the two Pals in the Breeding Farm will drop an egg for you.

Now that you have an egg, you can move on to the next step of hatching a Shadowbeak, which is the Incubation period.
To start hatching the egg, you will need the Egg Incubator. You can unlock this in Ancient Technology 7 and craft it with the following materials:
- Stone x30
- Cloth x5
- Ancient Civilization Parts x2
With the Incubator built, place the Egg inside and await the countdown to end. Ensure the Egg is at a comfortable temperature to speed up the process. Usually, this can take up to a day, but you will get your Shadowbeak soon!
