How to customize your character in Palworld

For a while, you couldn't customize your character in Palworld. If you wanted to change how you look, you'd have to start an entirely new world and create a new character. However, there is an option to change your looks without having to start over.

To customize your character in Palworld, you'll have to craft the Antique Dresser. You'll first have to unlock it through the Ancient Technology Tree for one Ancient Technology Point, which isn't a lot. You can unlock the recipe at any point you get tired of the way your character looks. Make sure you have that one extra point saved up, just in case.

When you've unlocked the recipe, you just have to collect all of the materials, which isn't going to be too difficult:

  • Wood x100
  • Fiber x20
  • Stone x30
  • Ancient Civilization Parts x5

The most difficult thing to get from the list above is the Ancient Civilization Parts. Just make your way to either the Chillet (173,-420), Gumoss (-110,-629), or Sweepa bosses that are only level 11, so you should be able to take them out easily.

Once it's crafted, approach the Dresser, and you'll get a prompt to Edit Character Appearance. Keep in mind that you'll be defenseless when you are in the editor, which means that you can get killed if your base gets raided.

The editor is the same as at the start of the game, except you're probably in better armor now. You'll have the same option to change your body, face, hair, and voice, along with a selection of presets. Hopefully, with more content updates, we'll see more visual changes as well. I'd definitely love the option of a hairstyle with a long braid.
