Wrath of the Righteous is the following title to the previous entry into the Pathfinder series, Pathfinder Kingmaker. 

Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous also follows a similar playstyle but will also include a turn-based mode, thus giving players the choice between a real-time with pause or a turn-based CRPG experience.

The game starts off with players leading a crusading army against an army of fiends, eventually finding a wardstone. Through the power of the wardstone, several adventures will become powerful heroes akin to demigods.

With this newfound power, players will need to gather their own army, change the land forever, and use their powers for good or evil. 

How does Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous play? 

The game plays in a turn-based format similar to that of games like Divine Divinity 1&2 or a real time with pause as games such as Pathfinder Kingmaker or Pillars of Eternity. 

Players will accept quests, make hard choices and complete them all while managing an army as a field commander in a new tactical combat mode.

Players can also make several choices and become different types of mythical heroes, from an angel guarded by holy nights to a powerful necromancer backed by legions of the damned.
