When does Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal come to Game Pass?

Three of the most popular RPGs of all time are coming to the Xbox Game Pass.

The Xbox brand is generally not known for its large selection of RPGs, especially Japanese RPGs. But it seems as if Microsoft is going to fix that this generation, as the company announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase that three titles within the Persona franchise will be making their way onto Xbox game consoles. These games include HD ports of Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden, as well as Persona 5 Royal finally making its way on Xbox game consoles. All games are coming to the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Window PC, and Xbox Game Pass.

When will the Persona games release on Xbox?

Of the three Persona games revealed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass, only Persona 5 Royal was given a specific release date—Oct. 21, 2022. The rest of the games were not given specific release dates.

The Persona series is a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise and is published by Atlus. Each game features a new cast of characters and takes place in their own setting. The Persona focuses on a group of people who can traverse into a strange alternate universe and summon special beings that are manifestations of their souls. Each game focuses on High School students, and starting in Persona 3, the series becomes more of a social simulation where players need to keep track of all their social relationships.
