What happens if you don’t say goodbye to the Ouija Board in Phasmophobia?

The Luigi Board is so much deadlier now!

As of Phasmophobia's Cursed Possessions Update (v0.5.0), Ouija Boards have new questions added and the ability to cause Cursed Hunts. Players who leave the board without saying "Goodbye" will cause the board to break and be cursed. So, what do Cursed Hunts do?

Cursed Hunts

After a Ouija board has broken itself by a player not saying "goodbye" to it, a Cursed Hunt is triggered. Cursed Hunts are triggered whenever a cursed possession has been misused. This can happen at any level of sanity, and it has the lasting effect of making all hunts last longer.

Crucifixes will not stop a Cursed Hunt, however, Smudge Sticks will still cause the ghost to wander for a few seconds. Players who draw The Hermit from a Tarot Card deck will not stop a Cursed Hunt like they would for a regular hunt.

Cursed Hunts will be longer than normal hunts and are based on the difficulty and size of the map for the Contract. Every hunt after the Cursed Hunt in the same contract is longer but can be prevented by the usual methods. The grace period for a Cursed Hunt is the lowest of all hunts on any difficulty, giving players one second before chasing the investigators.
