Pokémon experts from Serebii.net speculate that this is an entirely new Pokémon species called Wiglett. Although that's all information, for now, even the name draws a connection to Diglett, which means they may be related. This story only confirms that Pokémon Scarlet will have a vibrant world with never-before-seen creatures. One of them is new poisonous Pokémon that roams the woods of Paldea.

So, is it Diglett of Wiglett? We'll find out soon as Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are launching on November 18 on Nintendo Switch. Stick around, as we'll continue to investigate this mysterious Pokemon!
