Corviknight was introduced in Pokémon Sword and Shield, and while it hails from the Galar region, you can find it in the Paldea region. This Flying/Steel-type Pokémon remains popular in Scarlet and Violet and can be quite deadly. Corviknight can be one of the most challenging Pokémon to face due to its great type combination of Flying/Steel. This gives it few weaknesses and many resistances. Combine this with its great Defense, HP, and good Special Defense, and Corviknight can stick around for quite some time on the battlefield. How to counter Corviknight in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Choosing the right Pokémon to fight Corviknight can be tricky, thanks to its stats and type combination. Ideally, you want a Pokémon that focuses on Special Attack and has powerful Fire or Electric-type moves. Corviknight doesn't have the coverage moves to stop these Pokémon, but it can use Roost to remove its Flying type, making Fire the best option.

We recommend using Houndoom, Armarouge, Pyroar, or Volcarona against Corviknight. These are all faster than it and have enough Special Attack to take it out quickly. Other good choices are Skeledirge, Torkoal, and Camerupt, but these are not faster than Corviknight, so you will need to be careful when using these.
