Toedscruel is a Grass/Ground-type Pokémon with an incredibly annoying ability, Mycelium Might. This ability makes its status moves go last, but they ignore your Pokémon's ability. This means that a status move would normally not work but instead will and can ruin strategies. It has a high Special Defense and Speed, allowing it to tank special attacks and outspeed a lot of Pokémon.

You will want to bring a Pokémon that has strong physical moves with the Fire, Ice, Flying, and Bug-type. You'll also want one that is faster than Toedscruel, such as Weavile or Staraptor.
