I would build mine Bold, just because Hydrapple’s Defense is already high, and pit it against physical attackers like Salamence. But Calm provides it with an overall more balanced defense.

Nature doesn’t matter very much unless you’re going to take your to PvP… or more difficult competitive battles like Blueberry Academy. Nature dictates which stat gets a 10% boost in growth rate and what gets a 10% decrease in exchange. There are also natures that neither boost nor stunt any stat, like Hardy and Docile.

Fickle Beam isn't the most reliable move, but it has a 30% chance of doubling in power (same chance as a Scald burn). Earth Power is necessary to hit Heatran, who would normally wall out Hydrapple.
