What are the best natures for Nosepass and Probopass in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC?

These are the best natures for Nosepass and Probopass, respectively:

  • Relaxed (+Def, -Speed)
  • Modest (+Sp. Atk, -Atk)

The main issue with Nosepass is it has a very small health stat, but it also has great normal defense stat, which is why beefing it up more with Relaxed Nature is a great choice. Doing so helps you balance Nosepass' low health.

That said, once Nosepass evolves into a Probopass, there is a massive boost for defense stat. Due to this increase, you get the room to switch the nature to Modest to have more special attack power. To summarise, the best nature for Nosepass is Relaxed, and for Probopass, it's Modest.

How to choose the best nature for Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To pick the best nature for your Pokémon in the game, you have to look at their strengths. For example, if your Pokémon has a great attack stat and a weak special attack stat, the best nature for it would be something that increases its attack stat at the cost of the special attack stat. You can take a look at this table below to figure out what works best for your Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
