Wattrel and Kilowattrel are new to the series and have some pretty decent stats. The best Nature for Wattrel and Kilowattrel in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are:

  • Naive (+Speed, -Special Defense)
  • Hasty (+Speed, -Defense)

Since Wattrel and Kilowattrel rely heavily on their Speed stat in battle, similarly to Nymble and Lokix, can rely less on Defense and Special Defense. Because of this, Hasty and Naive are great options.

How to choose the best Nature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Choosing the right Nature can be confusing, but some tips can make a choice easier. Players should look at a few different things when choosing the best Nature, playstyle, base stats, and move pool. The trainer's playstyle should heavily influence the Nature of the Pokémon, which should ultimately reflect the role that the player uses the Pokémon for in battle. Strong Special Attackers should have Natures that complement that. Bulky defenders should have Natures that strengthen that aspect of their stats.

A Pokémon's base stats should also come into play. Players should choose Natures that increase a Pokémon's strongest stats and lessen its weakest. This is all also dependent on the Pokémon's move pool. If a Pokémon doesn't have any great Special Attacks, then players should avoid giving it a Nature that increases its Special Attack stat. The chart below can help players decide on a more case-by-case basis which Nature is best for them.
