What is the best Nature for Wiglett and Wugtrio in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

The best Nature for Wiglett and Wugtrio in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are the following:

  • Jolly (+Speed, -Sp. Atk)
  • Adamant (+Attack, -Sp. Atk)

As implied, Wiglett and Wugtrio are very fast Pokémon with a Speed that’s just a few points shy of the fastest Pokémon in the game, like Electivire. They also have a moderately high Attack stat, though it's not as high as its Speed. In short: Adamant will make Wugtrio a more well-rounded Pokémon, but Jolly will grant you the upper hand against unsuspecting trainers in online PvP. For most trainers, though, Adamant is the way to go!

How to choose the best Nature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A Pokemon's best Nature is dependent on its highest base stat (or one of them if there are multiple). For the most part, your chosen Nature should have that specific stat boosted. Since Wiglett has a naturally high base Attack, Natures such as Lonely are good for it.

Conversely, the worst Natures for a Pokemon decrease the growth of their best stats. Wugtrio should never have a Nature that impedes the growth of its Attack, like Bold or Calm.
