The Teal Mask DLC for Scarlet & Violet has a handful of new Pokémon to collect. There are a total of at least five new Pokémon with one new evolution; Applin will finally have its third evolution. For those who want to collect the set of all the apple-themed pocket monsters, they will need Applic, Flapple, Appletun, and the new form: Dipplin.
How to evolve Applin into Dipplin in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Dipplin is a Dragon- and Grass-type Pokémon that can only be evolved from Applin in the Teal Mask DLC. In the base game, you need a Sweet Apple to evolve it into Appletun and the Tart Apple to get a Flapple. But Dipplin requires a different kind of fruit: a Syrupy Apple.

There is no need to farm for Syrupy Apples in Kitakami. You can buy these apples for 500 Pokedollars at a small abandoned stand near the entrance to the island.
