You can get Raichu even before you take on the first gym!

Thunder Stone locations in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

Thunder Stones can be obtained in a number of ways, but below are the easiest methods to take up:

  1. You can get one as a Pokédex reward after capturing 30 Pokémon. When you have your Pokédex opened, press X to claim your rewards.
  2. Buy it from Delibird Presents for ₽3,000. Thunder Stones (along with Fire and Water Stones) will only be available after earning three gym badges. Delibird Presents can be found in three cities: Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa.

You can also find one at the very top of the lighthouse in West Province (Area One). If you’re lucky, you can also find a couple lying around in East Province (Area Three). So, pick up every sparkly item you see!

Every Pokémon that evolves in a Thunder Stones in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

A ton of Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet have quirky evolution methods, like leaving them alone in your party or leveling one up during multiplayer. Quite a number of them evolve with Stones, too. Below is a list of Pokémon that evolve with a Thunder Stone in the game:

  • Eevee
  • Eelektrik
  • Magneton
  • Pikachu
  • Tadbulb
  • Nosepass
  • Charjabug

Aside from Bellibolt, you might find it difficult to find the others in the wild. If you’re looking to complete your Pokédex, both your Paldean and Kitawami one, the fastest way to do so is to evolve these Pokémon.
