Where to find Salty Herba Mystica in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

If you eat it, Shinies will come.

Herba Mystica is one of a slew of new mechanics introduced in Generation IX. Players collect one for beating each Titan through the Path of Legends storyline in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. What gamers might not know, though, is that they are also great ingredients for sandwiches, and the Salty form of Herba Mystica is arguably the best of them.

Instead of finding it in the overworld, Herba Mystica are actually drops from Tera Raid battles. Specifically, trainers will want to look for certain 5-Star and 6-Star Raid battles. They aren't guaranteed to drop Herba Mystica, but they have a very high chance of dropping it.

To target specifically Salty Herba Mystica, trainers will want to battle these 5-Star Raids:

  • Slowbro
  • Cloyster
  • Blissey
  • Gengar
  • Drifblim
  • Glalie
  • Bronzong
  • Hippowdon
  • Amoonguss
  • Elektross
  • Avalugg
  • Greedent
  • Corviknight
  • Coalossal
  • Copperajah
  • Dondozo
  • Palafin
  • Orthworm
  • Cetitan
  • Garganacl

Also, these 6-Star Raids can drop Salty Herba Mystica:

  • Vaporeon
  • Blissey
  • Pelipper
  • Torkoal
  • Hippowdon
  • Amoonguss
  • Avalug
  • Toxapex
  • Corviknight
  • Farigiraf
  • Dondozo
  • Orthworm
  • Cetitan
  • Klawf
  • Garganacl
  • Dachsbun

While there are five different types of Herba Mystica around the Paldea region, it is worth it to single out Salty Herba Mystica in particular. This is because Salty Herba Mystica is an ingredient in all of the best shiny sandwiches in the game. After obtaining the Shiny Charm, trainers can have very high shiny odds by eating one of these sandwiches.
