Best nature for Electabuzz and Electivire in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

What great electric Pokémon.

There are many different Pokémon to choose from in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl including Electabuzz and Electivire. These electric-type Pokémon are hard-hitting physical attackers with a good balance of stats. To maximize their strengths, you will need to get the best nature for Electabuzz and Electivire.

There are two options for Electabuzz and Electivire's best nature. We've listed these options below as well as our recommendation.

  • Hasty - (+Speed, -Defense)
  • Naive - (+Speed, -Special Defense)

We recommend the Naive nature as the best nature for Electabuzz and Electivire. This will increase their speed and let them outpace the opposing Pokémon and capitalize on their high attack. Ultimately the increase in speed is the best route for Electabuzz and Electivire and sacrificing special defense is a good trade all things considered.

Alternatively, you could go with the Hasty nature in certain situations. While it also increases speed, the drop in defense may be slightly worse than special defense as many ground-types will use physical attack. Electabuzz and Electivire have lower defense than special defense already so this nature will lower that stat further.
