Best Nature for Glalie and Froslass in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl

Snorunt's all grown up!

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl offer a wide variety of Pokémon for players to collect and use in battle. Two creatures players will encounter along their journey are Glalie and Froslass, the evolutions of Snorunt. If you want to add either of these two to your team, make sure you get the best possible stat boost with the proper Nature.

  • Glalie
    • Jolly (+Speed, - Special Attack)
  • Froslass
    • Timid (+Speed, -Attack)

There aren't many options for Glalie and Froslass. Neither of these Pokémon has an exceptional Attack, so players must rely on Speed to outperform opponents.

Glalie needs a Nature that bolsters his Speed without lowering Attack as a physical attacker. The best option here is Jolly, as it lowers Special Attack, a stat that Glalie users won't need. Because Glalie's stats are mediocre, players shouldn't expect much from this Pokémon.

Froslass, while not overwhelming in battle, has a better base Special Attack value, meaning she'll need a Nature that prioritizes Speed without diminishing her Special Attack. Grab a Froslass with a Timid Nature, and you'll have a partner with more reliable damage output against opponents.

If you're trying to choose between Glalie and Froslass, we recommend Froslass, as both her Special Attack and Speed are far better than her counterpart's offerings.
