How to download and use the Universal Pokémon Randomizer

Add some challenge and chaos to your game!

The Pokémon series is one of the most popular series ever, and it has numerous games throughout its lifespan. Most of these games have similar mechanics and play the same, so some players may be looking to shake things up. One way to do this is to run a Pokémon Randomized challenge. The best way to do this is to use the Universal Pokémon Randomizer.

You will need to download both an Emulator and a ROM of your favorite Pokémon game. You will also need to download the Universal Pokémon Randomizer. Remember to check the laws regarding Emulation in your area. Typically it is legal to emulate a game you have legally acquired and, in some cases, games that are out of copyright.

With all three programs/files installed on your PC, you are ready to begin randomizing your game. First, open the Universal Pokémon Randomizer and use this program to open the Pokémon ROM. You will have countless options to randomize your game, including Pokémon encounters, trainer Pokémon, items, and more.

Once you have selected all the options that you want, click the randomize button to save a new version of the ROM that has been randomized. Then you need to open the emulator you downloaded and then open the randomized ROM.
